When
I have
arrived
In the kitchen
blinking
no breath
Blinking
ten more
times
Casting eyes
to the left
washing all done
Casting eyes
to the right
kettle boiled
Checking
my left pocket
for keys
Then
why, have I
arrived
without the
reason
for my being there
cursing
my aging
mind
I stand knowingly
immobile
it is scary and yet freeing, isn’t it?
It is indeed and still I remember not, but it may have been feed the cat
Happens all the time
Yeah, it is annoying
I can relate.
I have a very big kitchen.
I often can’t remember why I crossed the room.
Nice, hopefully you don’t have a big garage
Get this all the time – at least you’re not alone in your forgetfulness! Something to soothe your annoyance with next time it happens!
Indeed at least I won’t be alone
Happens to me all the time, Bruce. Sometimes, I call the kids and can’t remember why I called them .
Ah getting old is not all it is cracked up to be
I love it. Humor, for me, on Friday. Fun! Evidently togetherness in forgetfulness is a good thing.
Aye a little humor and I agree a good thing
